Martha Ankomah and Lil Win reach out-of-court settlement in defamation case
Ghanaian actress Martha Ankomah has agreed to an out-of-court settlement in her defamation case against actor Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win.

A defamation case between Martha Ankomah and Lil Win was scheduled to begin on July 31 at the High Court in Accra. However, just as the trial was about to start, Martha Ankomah’s legal team, led by Nii Apatu Plange, announced a new development in the case.
Defamation Case Adjourned for Out-of-Court Settlement
The team informed the court that a settlement had been reached between the plaintiff and the defendant. This prompted a brief adjournment by the court to finalize the agreement.
The presiding judge, Justice Forson Agyapong Baah, acknowledged the development and adjourned the case to August 15, 2024, to formalize the settlement.
The specifics of the settlement agreement have not been disclosed. The court will reconvene on August 15 to finalize the agreement.
